Watch Justin Bieber Bring 'Boyfriend' To Billboard Music Awards

Just minutes after his big bro Usher took the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to perform his latest single, Justin Bieber rocked the Billboard Music Awards with an energetic performance of his Hot 100 hit, "Boyfriend."
Standing over a chalk outline to open the performance, Bieber strolled
across the stage to join a slew of backup dancers and bust out his
falsetto. After tearing through the track's two verses and smiling at
some lucky ladies in the crowd at his feet, Bieber stomped into an
intense dance breakdown that injected the pop track with some fierce
vibrancy. By the end of the track, however, Bieber was all smiles as the
crowd gave him an eardrum-shattering response.
One year after winning the Billboard.com Fan Favorite Award at the
2011 Billboard Music Awards, Bieber took home the Top Social Artist
trophy early in the broadcast on Sunday night. The Biebs trumped artists
like Eminem, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Shakira. "The Internet is where I
got my start, and all my fans have helped me get to this position,"
Bieber told the audience while accepting the award.
"Boyfriend" is the lead single to Bieber's latest full-length,
"Believe," due out June 19. After debuting at No. 2 on the Hot 100, the
track sits at No. 9 on the current tally.

Carly Rae Jepsen (who recently signed a deal with the Biebs' manager
Scooter Braun) performed her own Hot 100 hit, "Call Me Maybe."
