Daniel Agger Predicts Luis Suarez Will Score Plenty Of Goals For Liverpool After Dream Debut

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has backed new striker Luis Suarez to keep finding the net after the Uruguayan scored on his debut in a 2-0 win against Stoke City last night.

Suarez took just 16 minutes to hit the back of the net after coming on as a second-half substitute, and Agger thinks there is more to come once the player gets used to his new team-mates and the league.
The Danish defender told the club's official website: "We need to have a few more games, but I think it's important for him and the team to get the goal so quick.
"For strikers it's always important to get a goal, and in the first game it's definitely important.
"I've not seen Suarez in training yet, but I'm sure he can give Liverpool plenty of goals. That's what we need."
Agger is also pleased with the signing of Andy Carroll from Newcastle United and thinks the new forward partnership can flourish.
"Different players have different styles," he said.
"It's always the best option to have two different strikers to give options for the team, so that's good."
