BAADA YA KUFANYIWA UPASUAJI, LADY GAGA AONEKANA AKIWA NA MASHOGA
Posted in Lady Gaga| Lady Gaga Walks Around NYC In A Bra, Chills In SUV With Stilettos Out The Window |
We have NOT had enough Lady Gaga in our lives as of late. Sure, we spotted her at the Gay Pride Rally last week, but between her cancelled tour :( and suspiciously shutdown Twitter, we've been seriously thirsty for some Mother Monster sightings. Luckily, our prayers have been answered--Lady Gaga was spotted right here in NYC (!!!) yesterday looking fiercer than we've ever seen her before. She gave the ultimate "F you" to the unrelenting humidity (SO. HOT.) by ditching a T-shirt all together! She sported just a lacy black bra with a matching black mini skirt, killer stiletto platform booties, oversized sunnies and, well, not much else.

He also revealed that the Grammy winner was "ready to get back to work." GaGa has resumed working on her new album, and Herbert said that the upcoming studio set would be "very, very refreshing." He added, "I can't wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever."

Jennifer Lopez Tangled Up in Lady GaGa 'Judas' Lawsuit

The
case surrounding the plagiarism lawsuit filed in 2011 against Lady Gaga
regarding her hit “Judas” is still pending, but now Jennifer Lopez’s
name is in the mix.
In 2011, singer Rebecca Francescatti sued Lady GaGa for allegedly using parts of Rebecca’s 1999 song “Juda” in her hit “Judas” without permission. Jennifer Lopez was brought up in a recent court case hearing because GaGa co-produced Lopez’s song “Invading My Mind” from her 2011 Love album, which allegedly used an unlicensed sample by another artist.

Lady GaGa Has Tiny Men Crawling Over Her Naked Body in Perfume Ad
Posted in Lady Gaga
The Mother Monster ditches her outlandish outfit
and her high-platform shoes to go totally naked, being explored by a
number of tiny hunks.

The first look at the commercial ad for Lady GaGa's
Fame scent has been uncovered. The Mother Monster bares all lying on
her side with shirtless tiny men climbing and crawling over her naked
body. Some of them are strategically placed to cover her private parts.
She wears a black mask and holds her perfume on one of her hands.
The ad for the "First Ever Black Eau de Parfum" was taken by Steven Klein. "I won't lie I'm a bit nervous. its been a while since i've shared some work with you. But i'm so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!" the pop singer tweeted before uploading the image.
She partnered with Coty Beauty. Its president Renato Semerari commented on their partnership, "She has her own ideas and very often they're very interesting and challenging...really, she's not the one who says, 'It's OK, let's move on and turn the page.' She's always thinking, 'Can we do more?' "
The perfume is presented in black liquid and will be released next month. Talking about the name of the scent that happened to be the title of her studio album, GaGa told WWD, "Fame is an illusion - if you really want it, anyone can have it."

Madonna Disses Lady GaGa, Promotes World Peace at Tour Opener in Tel Aviv
Posted in Lady Gaga, Madonna
Madge disses GaGa after singing 'Express
Yourself' and encourages fans to 'rise above our egos and our titles and
the names of our countries and our religions, and treat everyone with
dignity.'
Madonna officially opened her tour to promote her latest studio album "MDNA" in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Material Girl stormed the stage at Ramat Gan Stadium with a handful of dancers and wowed the sold-out crowd with fierce performances of songs from her extensive catalog.
Among the tracks the Queen of Pop sang was "Express Yourself" from critically acclaimed album "Like a Prayer". She was previously taped mashing up the track with Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" that bears resemblance to the 1989 hit single, and reportedly performed the reworked version at the live show.
However, Madge took a shot at the Mother Monster during the Thursday, May 31 gig. The "Girl Gone Wild" singer kept her jab short and to the point. "She's not me!" so she shouted at the end of "Express Yourself" performance without mentioning who her target was.
Other sets saw the "W.E." director channeling her inner cheerleader and turning the stage into a church with a confessional theme complete with a huge cross. She was also joined by her son Rocco Ritchie who served as a backing dancer in one of the performances.
In between songs, Madge promoted world peace, saying, "If there is peace here in the Middle East, there can be peace in the whole world." Despite the campaign, she and her dancers delivered grim routines depicting violence and bloody gunmen in one of the sets. She also reportedly broke through a glass window using a rifle, which she then aimed at the concertgoers.
"I chose to start my world tour in Israel for a very specific and important reason," she explained. "You can't be a fan of mine and not want peace in the world, we all bleed the same color,. ... If we can all rise above our egos and our titles and the names of our countries and our religions, and treat everyone around us with dignity and respect, then we are on the road to peace."
She reportedly donated 580 tickets to members of Israeli and Palestinian peace activists, but not everyone accepted her gift. One activist Alma Biblash said as quoted by Haaretz Daily Newspaper, "There's nothing in this concert but it being a concert for peace. The concept of peace is empty of any meaning, everyone wants peace without understanding the consequences, without seeing the price involved."
After the Tel Aviv concert, Madge will perform in such big cities as London, Paris, Milan and Berlin before hitting North America beginning August 28 in Philadelphia. She will perform in North America until before Thanksgiving, and continue the trek to Latin America until the holidays. The tour will conclude in Australia in early 2013.

Lady GaGa Explains Situation Concerning Her Concert in Indonesia
Posted in Lady Gaga
As she gets thumbs up for a second gig in the
Philippines, the 'Marry the Night' singer shows signs that she's willing
to tone down her performance to get the go-ahead from the Indonesians.
Lady GaGa has finally broken her silence about the oppositions against her concert in Indonesia. The Mother Monster took to her Twitter on late Monday, May 21, to address the situation that threatens the completion of her gig in the Muslim-majority country, and to reveal the compromise she would have to make.
"The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence," the 26-year-old Grammy winner first explained to her 24 million-plus followers. She went on to note, "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone."
GaGa's concert in Indonesia was part of her "Born This Way" promo tour, and was supposed to take place on June 3 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta with 52,000 tickets being sold out in just two weeks. However, it was met with permit issues and harsh protests from Islamic and Christian hard-liners, particularly Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who threatened to create "chaos".
Big Daddy Productions' attorney, Minola Sebayang, told the press on Monday night that the promoters can make sure that should GaGa get the go-ahead for the concert, her performance won't go against the country's norms and culture. The lawyer added that the promoters have talked about the matter with GaGa and her management team, and they have accepted it.
In the meantime, GaGa herself is likely to get thumbs up for her second concert in the Philippines after defying critics and state censors with her sold-out show Monday night. "The show was beautiful according to the people I sent to watch and they told me it violated no laws as per Pasay City government's rules and regulations," Pasay City Mayor Antonino Calixto said in an interview on Radyo Inquirer Tuesday morning.

Lady Gaga Needs A New Trophy Case
Posted in Lady GagaI saw this photo of Lady Gaga trying to juggle all of her FOUR MTV EMAs she took home yesterday, and I immediately thought of the guy who can't hold all those limes. I think this means I'm on the internet too much, but that is a gamble I'm willing to take. Anyway, Lady Gaga, clocking in at about a five on the 1-10 normal-looking scale, held her EMAs backstage while posing for photogs during the award show in Belfast, Northern Ireland, yesterday. She's all, "Ugh, I'm going to need a new trophy room now."
We think Gaga may be entering a new space-inspired chic phase, as her "Marry The Night" performance outfit (sculpture? art installation? ) was basically an amalgamation of all the satellite dishes in your neighborhood. Backstage, Gaga scaled the trend back a little and opted for a silver dress, silver lipstick, gold eyebrows and a huge blonde ponytail. P.S. Let's get a round of applause for Lady Gaga's real hair. It's been through immeasurable amounts of trauma, but it hangs in there like a champ. Truly inspiring.
