Chris Brown catered star-studded crowd inside The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles at 2012 BET Awards with two songs. Emerging on stage as half human and half skeleton, he kicked off his set with "Don't Wake Me Up" before breaking into "Turn Up the Music" under strobe lights.

Breezy won two awards Best Male R&B Artist and FANdemonium Award, dominating the show along with Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z and Kanye West. "I love teambreezy!!! U won tonight!!!" he tweeted. "Thanks BET for letting me perform and all the support!"

He sparked retirement rumors when calling his upcoming CD his "last album." "I'd like to thank Team Breezy, everybody who worked on any one of my albums," he said. "My last album that's coming out in two days. ... I just want to thank all my fans. It's dedicated to y'all. This one's for y'all, man, I appreciate everything."

Breezy said so when delivering his speech upon collecting Best Male R&B Artist title, but his representative quickly set the record straight. The rep explained Breezy only meant to say that the album "Fortune" was the latest album he made.

BET Awards 2012: Beyonce, Jay-Z and Kanye West Dominate Full Winner List

In addition to Beyonce Knowles and The Throne duo, Chris Brown becomes one of the biggest winners by also claiming two kudos.

The 2012 BET Awards has revealed all its winners. Among the biggest winners are Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z as well as his collaborator Kanye West with two nods apiece. Queen Bey grabbed the coveted Best Female R&B Artist award, which she dedicated to late diva Whitney Houston, and Video Director of the Year kudo along with Alan Ferguson.

As for Jigga and Yeezy, The Throne duo took home the Best Group and Video of the Year prizes. Another artist who bagged multiple prizes was Chris Brown. In addition to claiming the Best male R&B Artist title, Breezy won the Fandemonium award for the third year in a row.

Other winners at the annual prize-giving event included Nicki Minaj (Best Female Hip Hop Artist), Drake (Best Male Hip Hop Artist), Viola Davis (Best Actress), Kevin Hart (Best Actor), and Big Sean (Best New Artist). Serena Williams and Kevin Durant were named the Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year respectively.

Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, this year's BET Awards was made merry by live performances from the likes of Usher, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Melanie Fiona, D'Angelo, Chris Brown, as well as Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group. Serving as the host was "The Avengers" star Samuel L. Jackson.

The event additionally featured an extensive Whitney Houston tribute. For the session, Monica and Brandy took the stage to perform "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", Chaka Khan delivered "I'm Every Woman", while Whitney's mother Cissy Houston sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" to commemorate her late daughter.

Those who missed the live telecast of 2012 BET Awards at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles needed no worry since footage of Usher's and Nicki Minaj's live performances has hit the web. The former treated audience to a "Climax" performance, while the latter stormed the stage with "Champion" and "Beez in the Trap".

Usher took the stage in an all-black ensemble which he paired with red sneakers. Accompanied by a live band, he showed off his sleek moves and powerful vocals, making the crowd go wild. "The response to #Climax has been amazing. Life and love #TeamUsher," he previously tweeted.

Minaj, on the other hand, shared spotlight with 2 Chainz to deliver their joint track "Beez in the Trap". The Best Female Hip-Hop Artist winner kicked off her set rapping "Champion" with the help of a string orchestra before shaking her booty in the second song.

Kim Kardashian showed her full support for beau Kanye West after the rapper declared his love for her in "Way Too Cold" during the opening set of 2012 BET Awards. Soon after the rhymer retreated to the backstage, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star sprang to her feet and clapped to give him a standing ovation.

While professing his love for Kim, Kanye dissed her estranged husband Kris Humphries, who plays in Jay-Z's New Jersey Nets, in the process. "I'll admit, I had fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she had fell in love with him/ Well that's cool, baby girl, do ya thang/ Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team," he rapped.

On Twitter, Kim wrote, "I'm so happy for my baby tonight! Dope performance & won some BET Awards!" Kanye was one of the big winners, taking home Best Group and Video of the Year with Hov for their joint project in The Throne.

The lovebirds attended the Sunday, July 1 show in matching white outfits. They sat in the front row along with Jigga and his singer wife Beyonce Knowles, who also won two coveted prizes at the event. Kim showed off some skin in a figure-hugging dress which had unzipped effect with a gold fastener resting at her hip, while Queen Bey stole attention in her bright satin dress with a gold belt.
