Malawi Waendelea Kung'ang'ania Ziwa Nyassa

Malawi vows to continue oil-gas exploration on the disputed lake.
The two countries are to meet on 20th of August to discuss this issue!
Tanzanian government insists 50% of Lake Nyasa belongs to Tanzania!!! And the Malawians claims the lake is wholly owned by Malawi!
Lake Nyasa or Lake Malawi as they call it in Malawi was given fully to the Malawians in an agreement between the former colonial powers[British & Germany],an agreement signed in 1890.
Apparently Nyasa is the Yao word for Lake! with majority of the Yaos dwelling in Malawi.
Mmmh! The next thing,the Congolese will come and claim Lake Tanganyika belongs to them and Uganda will go for Lake Victoria..then we are left with River Wami!!!!
