Chris Brown's latest album, "Fortune", made its debut on the Billboard 200 at No. 1 for having sold 134,000 in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This is the R&B singer's second No. 1 debut following "F.A.M.E." which was released in 2011.
To celebrate the success of his album's first week run, Breezy added another tattoo to his already-inked body. He calls the new addition "The Bandit." It is an image of a man's face with a spray paint respirator on. The tattoo was done by Peter Koskela, the same artist who did the large wolf tattoo on his neck.
"Fortune" replaces Linkin Park's "Living Things" which has fallen to No. 5.Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" rockets from No. 21 to No. 2 after slashing its price to only $0.99 on Amazon. It is followed by "Believe" by Justin Bieber which doesn't shift from No. 3, while Maroon 5 slides from No. 2 to 4 with their record, "Overexposed".
Another notable appearance on the chart is Adele's "21" which is on its 72nd week on the top 10. It has fallen from 7 to 9, the album's lowest rank yet. It is currently tied with "Jagged Little Pill" by Alanis Morissette for the most weeks in the top 10 for an album by a female artist.
Album sales from the past chart week which ended July 8 show a 1% increase totaling at 5.8 million units compared to last week's 5.74 million.
