The Full English: Manchester United’s quest for the treble to be met by noisy neighbors of City

Where has the time gone? Seriously, I close my eyes in December and open them and it’s nearly May. Things fly when you’re having fun and all that…

This week in particular has been something of a whirlwind. Starting with Liverpool’s deconstruction of Manchester City at Anfield to Manchester United’s dominance of Chelsea in the Champions League to finally, Huerelho Gomes’ debacle against Real Madrid...there has been plenty to discuss as it pertains to the English game.
No "Fish & Chip Shots" this week, for that I apologize. You’ll just have to settle for an abnormally lengthy edition of “The Full English.” Just as good, right? Both are equally as awesome, I think.
I’ll still bring you the usual amount of TFEness that I usually do but with some of FCS flavor. I want to talk Liverpool (write this date down...doesn’t happen often) and some Champions League and then we’ll move into what’s ahead this weekend. Some pretty nice matches on the table, actually, with those high-flying Reds set for another giant-killing test. Plus, the FA Cup. Joy!
So Liverpool. Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool. Such a fun team to follow and I presume support. When all that transfer nonsense went down back in January, I was certain they got the raw deal. I loved the Luis Suarez signing because I think he’s first rate talent and will grow even further in England. I did think they got a bit taken by the amount they forked over for Andy Carroll, but it appears I was wrong
