WACHEZAJI 15 WANAOWEZA KUCHUANA KIUSHINDANI NA LeBRON JAMES NBA

Robert Mayer - US Presswire

LeBron James would beat the vast majority of the NBA in a game of one-on-one ten times out of ten. But there are a few players he might only beat six-to-nine times out of ten. While most, if not all, of these players would probably struggle to defend the 6'8", 250lb behemoth, they can generate points and might be able to provide enough D to win. There is certainly a possibility of that happening with all these players. LeBron can be beaten at least some of the time by these guys. And it is in celebration of that slight sense of basketball mortality that I present this list to you. Here are the top 15 NBA players who stand the greatest chance of beating King James on the playground.

We begin with Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba remains one of the best scorers in the game and still has the physical capabilities to match up with just about anyone. Bryant said himself that he thinks he would beat James due to LeBron's unselfish style of play. Tell me you wouldn't pay to see that game.

Kevin Durant might be the league's most complete offensive player. Which means that he could attack LeBron in a number of different ways and score efficiently. He might not have the athletic gifts that James does, but he's a little taller and a little better shooting from range. That gives him a shot.

KOBE BRYANT AONGELEA KUHUSU KUSTAAFU BASKETBALL

The finish line for Kobe Bryant's career may be very near. Or maybe not.

His contract with the Lakers runs through the 2013-14 season, and Bryant suggested in a recent cbssports.com story he might then retire.

After practice Tuesday, reporters asked Bryant if he would only play for two more seasons.  "We'll see from year to year where it goes," Bryant said.

What would it take for him to come back for a third year?

"How the hell do I know?" Bryant said. "It's three years from now."

Bryant suggested that playing pro basketball for nearly two decades is a major mental challenge.

"I think it's always the mental part because physically you know what you have to do whether it's a knee injury or an ankle injury, whatever it is, you make those adjustments physically, you change your regimen a little bit, you do physical therapy," Bryant said. "The mentality of preparing year in and year out, it's going on 17 years and every off-season has been more work than the regular season, so it's a lot of work."

Dream Team returns to Barcelona 20 years later
The Dream Team arrived to Barcelona on Friday evening to prepare for one of their last exhibition matches before the London Olympic Games. Team USA will don replica jerseys of the 1992 Dream Team uniform in tomorrow’s match against Argentina.
The USA basketball team is in Barcelona finalizing preparations for their upcoming debut in the London Olympic Games. The NBA stars, who will face Argentina on the 22nd at the Palau Sant Jordi, sat down with the Spanish press agency EFE in the Catalan capital before tomorrow’s match against their South American counterparts. Perhaps it was the location of the interview, or perhaps it was tomorrow’s rival, but the North American players were quick to praise Barça and Argentina’s most emblematic football player, Leo Messi.

Kobe Bryant didn’t mince words when given the opportunity to talk about FC Barcelona’s Argentine: “Messi is the best! The best! I once had the opportunity to watch one of his training sessions and I really enjoyed it,” said the Los Angeles Lakers star.

The MVP of the NBA who recently claimed his first title, LeBron James, also praised Barça’s La Masia graduate. “Messi is the best player in the world. If he’s not already, he’ll be the best footballer of all time,” said the Miami Heat small forward.

Kevin Durant: “He’s an incredible player”

The Oklahoma City Thunder star was quick to agree with his two national teammates. “He’s incredible. The best in the world. I’ve seen him play and he’s truly incredible,” said Kevin Durant
